'''理察 ・ 萊德克'''（英文：Richard Lydekker，/ lɪˈdɛkər /；一八四九年七月二五—一九一五年四月十六）， 是十九世紀後半葉到二十世紀初的英格蘭博物學家、地質學家佮自然歷史作家。

==生平==

理察 ・ 萊德克出世佇倫敦的塔維斯托克廣場，老爸是有荷蘭血統的律師。萊德克伊出世了無偌久，一家伙仔就搬到赫瑞福郡的哈彭登。伊佇劍橋大學三一學院讀冊，閣佇一八七二年考取著自然科學  tripos  學位。

===古生物學===

一八七四年，理察 ・ 萊德克加入印度地質的調查局，來參與印度北部（主要是克啥物米爾地區）的古龍骨動物學研究，研究重點為西瓦利克山脈的古動物相。伊佇印度一直做工課到一八八一年老爸過身去的時。後來伊蹛倫敦自然史博物館，為館中的動物化石編排 kha-tá-lok-guh 序號，並且描述了金腹白眉猴遮的物種。

===生物地理學===

理察 ・ 萊德克佇生物地理學領域不止仔有影響力。一八九五年，伊沿著莎湖陸棚的西爿緣，畫一條穿過印度尼西亞的生物地理分布界線，將西爿的華萊士區佮東爿的澳大利亞洲分隔開。這線後來予人叫做是'''萊德克線'''（英文：Lydekker's Line，又閣譯做里德克線）， 佮華萊士線、韋伯線並稱，共同反映出地質運動對印尼至澳大利亞一帶的生物分布所起到的影響。

==榮譽==

一九空二年，理察 ・ 萊德克獲得了倫敦地質學會頒發的萊爾獎章。
