北海獅
北海獅（_Eumetopias jubatus_）主要分布佇北太平洋沿岸，是北海獅屬的唯一種類，海獅科上大的一種。
外形
成熟的北海獅比其他種的海獅色淺，一般是淡黃到淡棕色，有時仔有一寡紅色。雌北海獅比雄的較淺小可仔。拄仔出世的北海獅差不多是純烏色，幾個月了後才退色。一般出世的時體重為二十三公斤左右，無論母雄，前五年呢快速成長。五歲了後，雌性大約二孵五米長，三百公斤，成長速度減慢誠濟，但是雄性可能到五歲到八歲性發育完全了後才停止成長，到彼當陣大甲三兩三 m 左右，而且胸，頷頸佮上身闊大，重量達到六百分一千一百公斤。雄性額頭較闊，喙較平，頷頸周圍有一輾較黑氣的毛，看起來有一點仔親像一箍鬃毛。𪜶的拉丁文名事實會當翻譯做「有山毛的高額者」。
