約翰·伯頓·桑仔樹·霍爾丹

約翰 ・ 伯頓 ・ 桑仔樹 ・ 霍爾丹FRS（英語：John Burdon Sanderson Haldane，一八九二年十一月初五—一九六四年十二月初一；通常予人號做J . B . S . 霍爾丹、霍爾丹，佇伊的著作中有時也用 J . B . S .；姓抑是講做荷頓）， 出世佇大不列顛倒反，是一个遺傳學家佮進化生物學家。霍爾丹是一个堅定的馬克思主義者，因為對大不列顛政府對蘇他士運河危機的政策感覺不滿，離開牛津大學去過印度並成做一个印度公民。霍爾丹同羅納德 ・ 費雪佮休厄爾 ・ 賴特做伙予人認為是種群遺傳學的奠基人。

J . B . S . 霍爾丹佇咧一九二九年發表的一篇關於著「性命起源」的文章去提出「有機物通由無機物形成」的假影講，啊若這个假說已經一九二四年對俄羅斯科學家亞歷山大 ・ 它萬嗎維奇 ・ 奧巴林提出。因為兩个人是分別提出仝款的假講，並無互相知情，毋才會人講的假影講「歐帕林—霍爾丹假講」。

得著獎

一九五二年，霍爾丹得著英國皇家學會達爾文獎章。一九五六年，伊得著英國皇家人類學研究所教予赫赫（Huxley）紀念獎章。佇其他的榮譽中，伊閣得著 Feltrinelli 獎，科學名譽博士學位，新學院榮譽院士佮美國科學院授予的 Kimber 獎。一九五八年，伊被倫敦林奈學會授予達爾文-華萊士獎章。
