利物浦約翰摩爾斯大學

利物浦約翰摩爾斯大學（Liverpool John Moores University，縮寫：LJMU）是坐佇咧英國利物浦的一間新大學，其名是算做紀念約翰 ・ 摩爾斯，一九九二年獲大學的資格。毋過因為其歷史會當追溯至十九世紀早期，就按呢真濟建築為喬治亞式抑是維多利亞式建築。

歷史

利物浦約翰爾斯大學的前身是一八二三年成立的 Liverpool Mechanics'School of Arts。該機構後來成做利物浦技校（Liverpool Polytechnic）。

根據一九九二年繼續佮高等教育法案改名做利物浦約翰摩爾斯大學（Liverpool John Moores University）， 同年九月十五是英國樞密院正式承認其的資格。

畫圖獎

約翰爾斯繪畫獎是佇利物浦步行者畫廊兩年一度頒發的藝術獎。頭一擺頒發佇咧一九五七年。同時這个畫廊嘛會舉辦一場藝術展，這嘛是利物浦雙年展的一部份。強欲選民零八年利物浦慶祝入選歐洲文化之都時該藝術展是主要的慶典之一。
