大規模開放線上課堂

大規模開放線上課堂（課程），閣稱慕課（英語：MassiveOpenOnlineCourse /MOOC)，是一種針對大眾的人群線上課堂，人會當通過網路來學習線上課堂。MOOC 是遠端教育的上新的發展，伊通過開放教育資源的形式發展而來。
MOOC 的設計佮課堂參與類似學院佮大學課堂，猶毋過 MOOC 一般袂像佇校付費的學生彼款要求學分。就算講按呢，學習的獎勵可能通過憑證來證明。
MOOC 起源於開放教育資源運動佮學習連接主義的思潮。最近，大量 MOOC 類似的計畫已經獨立地浮出水面，比如講 Coursera , Udacity , edX 和 Marginal Revolution University；台文 MOOC 自二空一二年開始佈局，至二空一四年較有名的 MOOC 網站包括 MOOC 學院、學堂線頂、ewant 育網、Share Course、Proera 等。遮的引人注目的計畫的創始者投資機構佮金融投資，幫助 MOOC 佇二空一二年取得著顯明的公眾關注。
MOOC 無完全既定的定義，但是有兩个顯明的特點：
- Open access / 開放共享：MOOC 參與者毋免是在校的註冊學生，嘛無要求學費，伊是予逐家共享的。
- Scalability / 有可擴張性：真濟傳統課堂針對一小群學生囡仔對應一位老師，猶毋過 MOOC 里的「大規模」課堂是針對無確定的參與者來講來設計的。
早期 MOOC 的其他特點，譬如講內容的開放授權，開放結構佮學習目標，以這个社群為中心等等的特點，𪜶嘛毋是佇所有 MOOC 計畫內底攏出現。
學分佮學位化
部份大學通過 edX 平台進行的 MOOC，比如講微碩士 ( MicroMasters ) 佮兌換學分課程仝款 ( Credit-Eligible ) 佇咧修理線頂課程了後，會當接升讀相關大學的學位課程。毋過，遮的線上課程並非免費，部份閣較查過百分之一的美金。
