巴斯勳章

上尊貴的巴斯勳章（The Most Honourable Order of the Bath，舊名上尊貴的巴斯軍事勳章）， 由喬治一世佇一七二五年五月十八號設立。巴斯一个來自中世紀時代，冊封騎士的其中一種儀式—— 洗身軀，象徵著淨化。以這種方式冊封的騎士稱為「洗浴騎士」，音譯做「巴斯騎士」。 喬治一世為遮的騎士設立了巴斯騎士團，但伊本人並毋是巴斯騎士，因為巴斯騎士這陣並毋是騎士團，管理依照一系列的規定進行，巴斯騎士出現空缺時會選擇人選替補。
巴斯勳章分做三等：
- 爵級大十字勳章（Knight / Dame Grand Cross，GCB）， 閣譯騎士大十字勛章
- 爵級司令勳章（Knight / Dame Commander，KCB/DCB）， 閣譯騎士指揮官勛章
- 三等勳章（Companion，CB）
巴斯勳章分做民事抑是軍事兩類。佇一八一五年進前，巴斯勳章干焦一種等級，巴斯勛爵士（Knight Companion，KB）， 這馬已經廢除。獲勛者通常是高級軍官抑是高級公務員。並非英王子民的獲勛者是騎士團的榮譽成員。
