桉樹

桉屬（學名：_ Eucalyptus _）通稱桉樹、尤加利樹，是桃金曲痀目桃金釧科的一屬。

形態

一般為常綠喬木；枝、葉花有香香；葉仔通常互生，有柄乎，全緣羽狀脈，攏鍥仔形；早春開白色的、紅的抑是黃的花，多為傘形抑是頭狀的花序，萼片佮花瓣連合成帽狀體（花蓋）， 開花的時陣走去；鋪果成熟的時陣頂懸三－五裂；種子多數有角亂。

分布

伊是澳洲木本的植物內底上有代表性的樹種。佇已知的七百外種桉樹中，真大部份攏生佇澳洲，少部份較長佇咧鄰近的新幾內亞島、新不列顛島、新愛爾蘭島、摩鹿加群島、小巽伊群島、蘇拉威西島，猶閣有一種遠佇咧棉蘭老島。

仝屬的桉樹植物因為適應澳洲大陸各種無仝的地理氣候，其中崁率遍及規个大陸。其他各大洲境內的植物，無一種會當像桉樹仝款，獨冠為一个洲內代表性植物的稱號。

用途

澳洲東部的三十至五十種桉樹，其樹葉仔為澳洲特有種動物無尾熊的唯一食物來源。其中細葉桉佮脂桉通講是無尾熊的主食，二者約占四十   %；大葉桉、小果灰桉佮灰桉等等是欲食物，三者約是占百分之四十；樹膠桉、斑桉佮白桉等等閣較過一級，三者約佔二十   %；至於山藍桉佮赤桉等等只通算是點心食物，這尪仔喙空用。尤其藍桉是提煉尤加利樹精油的主要來源。

尤加利精油（Eucalyptus oil）是一種消毒、殺菌、抗病毒劑、緩解胸痛、痰、硩嗽。會當做筋肉酸疼軟膏。伊有除蟲功效，也會使來緩解昆蟲咬傷的疼。

作為消除充血劑佮溫和的殺菌劑，降低因為血流增加造成的腫大，鹿楝疲勞而且疼的筋肉。著治療感冒、呿呿嗽佮其他的呼吸道疾病有效。吸入數滴精油所產生的蒸氣有幫贊佇咧黏膜的修復。

樹亦是木漿的原料之一。

特點

因為生長速度足緊的，對水的需求量較大。佮其他的植物相比，桉樹對礦物質的需求量並無特別大摸，所以民間流傳桉樹會致使嚴重的塗壤退化是無充分科學依據的。

生態影響

因為桉樹的經濟價值佮栽植做活率較懸，佇中國南方被大量咧種，予當地植物種類較差一化，拍破當地原有的生態平衡。此外，桉樹本身帶有的揮發性芳香油有驅蟲作用，雖然有經濟價值，但亦會破壞種作地區的生物鏈，造成鳥類遮的生物數量減少、猶閣有桉油本身非常易著火，是造成澳洲、加州等地山火燒滾滾的主因之一。猶毋過遮的問題主要是對人工造林的方式。佇咧中國，人工林加做單一樹種的純林，並且佇造林頭前定定通過剉原有樹仔、煉山燒山、施用殺草劑等等方式除去原有物種，予生物多樣性拄著破壞，蟲害佮火災𠢕發生。樹仔人工林所面臨的問題是各類人工林仝款面臨的問題。
