火絨草屬

火絨草屬（學名：_ Leontopodium _）屬於菊科，共包含三十幾種，分布佇歐洲佮亞洲，包含歐洲出名的高山火絨草（_ Leontopodium alpinum _，閣號做歐洲薄雪草抑是白花）、 禮文薄雪草（_ Leontopodium discolor _，分布日本、韓國佮東亞）佮玉山薄雪草（_ Leontopodium microphyllum _，台灣特有種）等。其實學名來自古希臘語：λέων（_ léōn _，獅仔）和 _ πούς _（_ pódion _，跤）， 以形容其帶絨毛、小可仔堅實的「花瓣」（實際上是苞片）。
