貝爾納迪諾·德薩阿貢

貝爾納迪諾 ・ 德薩阿貢（西班牙話：Bernardino de Sahagún 西班牙話發音：[beɾnaɾˈðino ðe saaˈɣun]，約一四九九年–一五九空年十月二三）， 西班牙方濟各會修士佮傳教士，民族志學者，參與了新大陸新西班牙殖民地早期的傳教活動。一四九九年，伊出世佇西班牙薩阿貢，一五二九年橫渡大西洋到位新西班牙。伊習著當地阿茲特克人使用的納瓦特爾語，而且費五十年時間研究阿茲特克文明的宗教、文化佮歷史。就算講伊大部份的時間咧進行傳教活動，毋過因為伊對阿茲特克文化詳盡的圖文記載被呵咾做「史上頭一个人類學家」。 伊佇納瓦特爾語的書面表達方面嘛有所貢獻，將《福音冊》《詩篇》佮一篇教義問答譯為著納瓦特爾話。

德薩阿貢上蓋闊為人知的作品即《新西班牙事物通史》，使用西班牙話佮納瓦特爾話雙語寫做，共分做十二卷佮二 , 四百頁呢，內底含約二 , 五百張納瓦式繪畫，詳細記錄阿茲特克文明的宗教、文化、社會、經濟佮歷史面貌。佇咧編編的過程當中，德薩阿貢開創了收集民族志信息佮驗證其真偽的新方法，伊本人嘛因此予人號做「美洲民族志之父」。 伊的《通史》予人呵咾做「有史以來上傑出的非西方文化紀錄之一」。
